Loved the dress but it was smaller than expected. I usually order a 14 or 16, so ordered the 16. I was barley able to zip it up & it was too snug across the chest. Sadly, I returned it.I loved this dress!! It was so unique. It fit great. I was trying to find a wedding dress. I sent it back because my huddy really wanted me to wear a white dress.But it would have been my choice!!Perfect red dress for a Christmas party. Easy care. Simple and elegant.This dress is perfect! It is form fitted yet forgiving to imperfections all over. The ruching hides the trouble areas. I felt fabulous wearing this dress. I like that a regular bra can be worn. I chose an all in one body brief to help create a slimming effect. I usually wear size 16 and I purchased a 16. I could have sized up to have a little more wiggle room to raise by arms above my head. I had to have help zipping the back all the way up. The material did have some give in it. The length could be adjusted by playing with the ruching in the waist line.Love this dress! The stretch taffeta accentuates your curves in a very flattering way and is incredibly comfy... I wasnt sure how stretchy the dress would be so I bought a larger size than usual but the way the fabric drapes and hugs- it didnt matter. I later tried on the smaller size in store @ it also fit great - very flexible style & fabric. It looks great and the style easily fits in many occasions... easy to dress up or keep simple. The other colors are all great as well...Bought for MOB gown - color is more green cast to it -I was hoping more bronze to gold. Dress is fitted & unique style. I loved the look - but could not use the color. Looks heavier than it feels.This dress is almost what I wore for my daughter's wedding (ghat one was tea length and brooch at shoulders). I love the rouching and fits perfect now, hope to lose more weight. Just needs a little sparkle. Will add pictures in January when my son gets married!Very stunning dress. It falls beautifully and hugs your body but with the ruching hides your problem areas if you have any. It does have a bit of stretch to it so you don't feel confined.I tried the dress on at a local store so I knew what size to order and what to expect. Yay, I saved $65.00 ordering through Amazon.The dress is slightly darker than the advertised image, a true pewter shade. Very nice indeed! The ruched taffeta has some stretch so very forgiving. Looks great and I love it!This dress is great quality and very rich and elegant looking. Don't be misled by the short look in the photo. When worn to the floor it is wonderful. The stretch taffeta material is totally comfortable. Steam the back fishtail out a bit so that there are no vertical creases in it. Looks fantastic.
